Responsibilities
The basics: Operators must safely operate a 40-45 foot motor coach between any two given points, any time of the day, for up to 15 working hours per day, not to exceed 70 hours in 8 days. Job requires individual to be able to sit in a driving position up to 10 hours (however, due to the nature of our route system, you will rarely drive 10 hours straight). Individual must also lift and load luggage into the coach luggage compartment at a height of approximately 14 inches from ground level. Concord Coach Lines has an immediate opening for a part-time Baggage Porter at our Portland, ME Transportation Center. Evenings and weekends are a must! Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have good customer service skills as this position requires extensive customer contact.

The Baggage Handler takes care of passenger luggage during bus arrivals and departures. Other responsibilities include keeping the platform and dock area neat and clean, including some inside cleaning of the terminal. This position pays $10.00/hour to start (twenty hours a week, more hours available during the winter months). All applicants are subject to pre-employment screening.
